Frequenting the beach here is a spring, summer, and fall occasion, but I hate the sand that comes home with us. I am an avid sand duster offer and hubby and the kids think the more the better. With the carpet and the floor being new in the house they are not getting past that door to bring it in. I came across a company that I really like, Sand Gone. Sand Gone, is a dry body powder that when applied to the sandy parts of your body, removes the sand leaving your skin soft and clean. I was a huge doubter. Well, last week we went to the beach and all of us were covered in sand. I ran in and got the Sand Gone and knew this was the perfect time to try it. Of course being the cavalier mom I am I tried it first. It’s a small canister and I WAS going to get the sand off of me. I applied it and the sand slid off. “NO WAY”, in my *cough* 42 years I’ve never seen anything like this. The smell! It smells so good. I then dusted it on the kids and we had [...]

It’s that time of year again when I have to suit up our whole family with swimwear. So schooching up to the computer with each person of the family is a real chore. Hapari definitely helps make that easier with their easy to find menu. Quinn 8, still takes boy sizes and found a pair of Blue Hawaiian Boardshorts he like. My older boy (thank goodness we don’t need an inseam size on this one) also went with Hawaiian Boardshorts. My daughter the fashion goddess took the longest to look around. She’s looking for a tankinis to mix and match for a different look daily. We live on Lake Michigan and visit the beach almost frequently. Hapari makes that easy with their colorful tops and bottoms that go with almost all of the tankini tops. Get a jump on the swimsuit season and find swimwear for the whole family at Hapari. Win it: One Networking Witches reader is going to win a $96 code from Hapari to get their own swimsuit! Mandatory Entry: Visit Hapari and check out their great 2011 swimsuits and share with us the suit AND link to the swimsuit you would pick if you won. [...]

Due to data loss this has been extended for 4 days and needs to be re entered. We’re sorry for the inconvience. WAT-AAH! Challenge @ Yahoo! Video WAT-AAH! is the best drink aimed at kids in a long time. My kids took them in their lunch to school and they got a lot of publicity. They also had a lot of lookers when they stayed after school and carried around their WAT-AAH. See WAT-AAH came about from a mom idea. Seriously, this is another one of my “Stand Up and be a Mom” stories! Rose Cameron, is the founder of WAT-AAH! Why WAT-AAH!? Water is simply the key to true hydration. WAT-AAH! is ultra-pure water containing the right amount of essential minerals to fortify and maintain children’s health (www.wat-aah.com). Our mission is to reverse the established behavior and dependency on sweetened drinks among American children, thus reducing the alarmingly high rates of childhood obesity. Ultimately, WAT-AAH! aims to teach kids that healthy bodies can be obtained through healthy hydration! This was a hit with all 3 of my kids. They enjoyed the attention the WAT-AAH got and came home asking where it could be bought. Unfortunately there are no Michigan [...]
