Ozeri’s incorporation of awarding winning designs, innovative materials, and durable construction for long product satisfaction. I was thrilled to receive the 12″ Green Earth Frying Pan for review. This smooth ceramic non-stick coating is 100% PTFE and PFOA Free. The bottom of the pan is designed to create an even heat through out the pan. We made a one dish meal with this and worked beautifully. We fried pork chops with 1 TB of olive oil and seasoned them on both sides, added some onions, and potatoes. Cooked until they were all well done and added a can of mushroom soup and 1/4 cup of sour cream. This was so good and we will be keeping it on our favorites list. Ingredients: 5 pork chops 1 TB olive oil salt and pepper to taste 1 onion [...]

Our family eats a lot of salads and with those come dressings. My husband and daughter will only eat Italian dressings, my boys anything that coats the flavor of lettuce and me? I like a variety of dressings. We do fall in to ruts though and I decided to shake it up a bit. This is where Devo Olive Oils comes in. I took a packet of Italian Good Seasons dressing and made according to package instructions except kept out a couple of teaspoons of water. I replaced it with Devo Olive Oils, Vermont Maple Balsamic. It was fantastic and so easy to make. It was just the right tart and sweet, so I started thinking, hmmm <–thats me thinking outloud. Since we use the Italian Good Seasons dressing packets for marinades too, I bet this would make a delicious marinade for our pork chops. Take 2 pounds of pork chops and poke with a fork. Put them in a zipper bag and pour the dressing over top. Marinate for 2 hours and grill. We are still using our gas grill and these were excellent. It also made our neighbors (my parents) call to see what we were cooking. [...]

I received a Soft Line Range, Non-Stick Aluminium Fry Pan and it is quickly becoming my favorite Kitchen utensil. It has a solid base construction which helps keep the pan warp resistance and help with even heat distribution for optimal cooking results. The pan has a ceramic non-stick exterior and is durable, stain resistant and easy to clean. This skillet just wipes clean. The handle is ergonomically designed for comfortable gripping. Green+Life Cooking Products are: PTFE Free PFOA Free Even Heating Pro Quality I’ve never had a skillet quite like this one. Instead of cooking spray spray, you use a little oil or butter and you don’t need to use much at all. We cooked grill cheese sandwiches and quesadillas, both turned out well and were super easy to turn over. My daughter and I were also able to keep the heat lower and noticed that it was more even than our usual fry pans. Our big test was eggs. Our family loves eggs and many times we’re frustrated with the broken ripped apart mess we’re left with. There was no sticking and with the even distribution of the heat the cooked evenly and they were turned easily.
The Lazy Gourmet Magnificent Meals Made Easy From Cleis Press By: Robin Donovan and Juliana Gallin $15.95 Paperback ISBN 978-1-57344-653-2 Synopsis: The Lazy Gourmet is for anyone who dreams of dazzling friends and loved ones with fabulous home-cooked fare, especially cooks short on time, patience, skill or experience. Authors and food bloggers Robin Donovan and Juliana Gallin conquer the misguided belief that preparing an elegant meal requires spending hours—or days—in the kitchen. With the help of an army of volunteer testers, regular people with picky palates and little cooking experience, they have created this collection of more than 125 easy recipes. Elegant, party-worthy dishes like Orange-Spiced Pecans, Basil Leaf and Goat Cheese Wraps, Pistachio-Crusted Leg of Lamb, Seared Sea Scallops with Mint and Pea Puree, and Lazy Chocolate “Mousse” all rely on readily available ingredients, common kitchen appliances and basic techniques. With these deceptively easy recipes and a bevy of useful tips and tricks, The Lazy Gourmet shows that anyone can prepare delightfully simple yet surprisingly delicious and sophisticated dishes that are certain to impress. This little book is fun. I really like that it starts out with a “Party In Your Pantry” and gives you a list of items [...]
