I was introduced to ACandyStore.Com, Bulk Candy and it has brought back some great memories.  They carry the largest collection I’ve ever seen, including candy from my childhood.  With six kids in a family you can imagine how we fought over candy.

Today I sent my kids off to school for the first day.  They are headed to 2nd grade, 8th grade, and 12th.  I cannot believe my daughter is a senior this year.  I feel good knowing that I sent them off with the school supplies they needed and it patterns that set them apart from the others.  School supplies from Carolina Pad to be exact.  These notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, and more come in many patterns, styles, and colors.

My family is a munching bunch.  Although I need to lose weight they do not, so finding a healthy snack and setting a good example is a chore for me.  Mareblu Naturals sent me an assortment of their healthy snacks for us to sample.

I was just treated to my favorite  blueberry yogurt now in a parfait.  Breyers YoCrunch Fruit Parfait is delicious.  I don’t eat my yogurt traditionally with just a spoon.  I pour it on top of my cereal instead of milk.  This makes the perfect snack because the yogurt is smooth with fruit and add some granola and you have the perfect snack.

These packs are great for the kids school lunches.  They rock as mom’s snack before they get home and run wild.  Yep they’re pretty perfect and are to be enjoyed in that tiny space of time you before the kids get home.

Now I didn’t try the other flavors but I think that the Peach is my next choice.  I also think I would like all of the other flavors too.  Most of all?  This is smart snacking, these YoCrunch Fruit Parfaits are only 100 calories can you say mmmmmmm.

Halloween is coming up fast and my husband and I met 1/2 way.  We’re going to have a fall harvest party and kids can come dressed up.  We’re going to have party favors and sugar (after all we’re sending them home!

For the harvest party I want our friends to go through and pick everything they would like out of our garden before we till it under.  For the kiddos we’re going to have some fun games and a small bonfire.  One of our party favors is from Zwindups.com I received Noggin Bops “Spookies’.  These are super cute and fun.

Remember the erasable pens of the 80s?  Ok, so some of you may not be that old but they didn’t erase the ink very well.  Fast Forward 20 years (or more), and you will find not just and erasable pen but an erasable highlighter as well.

Pilot has out done them self with their new FriXion line of Erasable pens.  The pen rolls smoothly across the paper, which is a must for me.  Make a mistake?  Not a problem erase it.  I erases so well, and much better than pencil my daughter chimed.

I seriously had my doubts on the highlighter.  It erased just as well.  I am impressed and excited.  FriXion erasable pens and highlighters are on my kids list and mine.  I do a lot of writing and this is going to be my new must have.
