Nestle resource natural spring wateris more than just hydration, it’s total electrolytenment. Electrolytenment is about living a more holistic life – you can find it anywhere, but it starts with resource spring water – 100% sustainably sourced with natural electrolytes for taste in a bottle made of 50% recycled plastic. Living on the Great Lakes and living with the fact that they are being polluted worries me about where my family is getting their drinking water from. I want safe spring water in a bottle that isn’t laying in a landfill. I think it’s wonderful that Nestle has taken up the challenge to give us safe bottled water, in a bottle that can be recycled. Win it: One Networking Witches reader is going to win a $25 Spa Week GC!
One of the best places to start for going green is reusable grocery bags. ChicoBag is the place to start, with their different types of reusable bags and their fashion designs. They believe that equipping humanity with tools to help eliminate unnecessary use of single-use paper and plastic bags is done by designing reusable bags, packs and lifestyle totes that are durable, tasteful and unforgettable. Addressing large problems starts with small solutions. ChicoBag’s lists 10 things you can do to start a reusable bag habit and it is an excellent read. All of these start with YOU! I guarantee someone sees you carrying a ChicoBag they will be thinking “I need to start reducing my carbon footprint.” When I picked my bag for review I had a hard time choosing. It’s equivalent of sending a child into a candy store. Speaking of children and candy they carry Snack Time rePETe snack bags perfect for sending to school, day care or the beach. They also carry Bottle Slings, DayPacks, Messenger Bags, Duffle Bags, Produce Stand Bags (this one is pretty neat!), and more. ChicoBag gives you options with style and flair.
I was just introduced to Gwens Blends, their motto “because you want to know more about blends”. Their approach is simple. Your Food Is Your Medicine, Your Medicine Is Your Food. You’re not consuming our products by mouth, but your skin and hair are surely absorbing each blend. So, if an ingredient is good for you, natural, and we can source it, then it’s in our products. It’s true. Natural ingredients really do pack a powerful punch! Gwen’s Blends carries a wide variety of hair and skin products. Soaps, cleansing cream, antioxidant lotion, body glo cream, smoothing face cream, bath salts, salt scrubs, shampoos and hair conditioners, just to name a few. For review I received their new Antioxidant Lotion for hands and body. The bottle reads “Protect your skin from dehydration. Minimalize fine lines and promote a youthful fresh appearance. Rich in Vitamins A,D, & E, this blend contains antioxidants and protects your cells from free radicals. The lotion is thin like many natural products are, but it creates moisture and soaks in quickly. I like this a lot not just the way it works but because the ingredient list are items like Sunflower Oil, Olive Oil, Water, [...]

I have told you about Zevia before and I still find it amazing that a zero calorie soda can taste so well. The stevia plant has been used for centuries by the natative people of Paraguay to sweeten their beferages. Reb-A is an all natural sweetening ingredient referring to relatively high purity rebaudioside A, naturally extracted from the stevia leafe that is used in powder or liquid form to heighten sweetening. While Zevia costs a bit more than your regular grocer’s soda, I like to think that we get what we pay for. We’re getting a naturally sweetened soda that tastes great and we’re helping to turn the tables on “artificial”. Our family was able to review Grapefruit Citrus. This is a perfect balance of ruby red grapefruit taste with a punch on lemon and lime, that will create a sparkly sensation in you mouth. Check out Zevia’s other great flavors too: Black Cherry Caffeine Free Cola Cola Cream Soda Dr. Zevia Ginger Ale Ginger Root Beer Grape Lemon Lime Twist Mountain Zevia Orange Win it: One Networking Witches reader is going to win a coupon for their own 6 pack of Zevia in their choice of flavor.
I consider recycling giving back to the earth. It gives it back to renew and restore it self. BottleHood is a company that makes products out of items they recycle. I love their glasses that were once beer bottles and have been cut in half, and the edges ground down to make it the perfect glass. Something I consider super cool are the Wine Barrels made into serving trays or cutting boards. These are perfect for laying out cheeses and crackers for the holiday potluck you’re attending. Leaving the tray or board makes the perfect hostess gift. I was given the Bombay Sapphire Candle for review. Made from a Bombay Sapphire Gin Bottle (pictured top) this candle is beautiful. Filled with soy wax and scented with Lemongrass, it freshens a room and adds beauty with color. This candle will burn 80 to 100 hours. The Orangina soda bottles at BottleHood are clear textured glass with a rounded bottom. The word Organina embosses near the bottom. Filled with 6oz of soy was and 52 hours of burn time this candle comes in rosemary/lavender or Nag Champa scent. Glass takes more than 4000 years to decompose.
Part of going green is changing your way of thinking and Ecover can help. Their website is a wealth of knowledge and items to help you move in the right direction. Their mission: “Ecover offers efficient and sustainable solutions for the hygienic needs of people today and future generations.” It just takes one person, one company, just one to make changes. Knowing where you can purchase items to make this change is important. Ecover carries dish washing, laundry, personal care and household products to give you a shove in the right direction. For review I received Ecover Delicate Wash and Ecover Stain Remover. The Delicate Wash gently cleans your washable silks, woolens, and fine fabrics leaving a subtle lavender scent. Made from plant based ingredients it is safe for for sensitive skin, and suitable for for HE washers. The environmental benefits are that it’s completely biodegradable which means it will be safe for my families septic. The Ecover Stain Remover helps remove grass, grease, mud and blood. The built in brush helps get a start on stains. I was very surprised to see it get blood out of my boys jeans. Last week was a little rough at school for [...]
