Remodeling my kitchen has taught me how out of date it really was. Not just the walls, floor and counter top but accessories like pots and pans. Ozeri is a specialty manufacturer of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. Something I’m working at becoming. Ozeri products are supplied to the destination club market. Meaning vacation residences, fractional residences, timeshares, and condo hotel apartments. Ozeri’s incorporation of awarding winning designs, innovative materials, and durable construction for long product satisfaction. I was thrilled to receive the 12″ Green Earth Frying Pan for review. This smooth ceramic non-stick coating is 100% PTFE and PFOA Free. The bottom of the pan is designed to create an even heat through out the pan. We made a one dish meal with this and worked beautifully. We fried pork chops with 1 TB of olive oil and seasoned them on both sides, added some onions, and potatoes. Cooked until they were all well done and added a can of mushroom soup and 1/4 cup of sour cream. This was so good and we will be keeping it on our favorites list. Ingredients: 5 pork chops 1 TB olive oil salt and pepper to taste 1 onion [...]

I had our taxes done and it is heartbreaking to admit but we made 20% less than we did in 2010. I seriously thought in 2010 that we couldn’t live on anything less, but I was proven wrong. Even earning 20% less our family is happy to have jobs, food on the table and the proverbial roof over our heads. So where did we cut to make ends meet? I’m not sure but here are some places I think stopped giving any or much of our money. Restaurants – We hardly ever eat out and when we do it’s a special occasion. Cable – Our contract came up with Charter <— I was not about to give them more after their terrible service and our phones, cable, and worst of all our internet being down so much. I called and MADE them break each one down for me so I know where the money is going. I grudgingly kept the phone because our cell phones don’t have a good signal at home. The internet I have to keep so I turned to the tv. We don’t rent movies but the shows we watch are usually recorded on the DVR [...]

Our family eats a lot of salads and with those come dressings. My husband and daughter will only eat Italian dressings, my boys anything that coats the flavor of lettuce and me? I like a variety of dressings. We do fall in to ruts though and I decided to shake it up a bit. This is where Devo Olive Oils comes in. I took a packet of Italian Good Seasons dressing and made according to package instructions except kept out a couple of teaspoons of water. I replaced it with Devo Olive Oils, Vermont Maple Balsamic. It was fantastic and so easy to make. It was just the right tart and sweet, so I started thinking, hmmm <–thats me thinking outloud. Since we use the Italian Good Seasons dressing packets for marinades too, I bet this would make a delicious marinade for our pork chops. Take 2 pounds of pork chops and poke with a fork. Put them in a zipper bag and pour the dressing over top. Marinate for 2 hours and grill. We are still using our gas grill and these were excellent. It also made our neighbors (my parents) call to see what we were cooking. [...]

Eagle Rock Entertainment brings Owl City to DVD & Blu-Ray featuring footage from the LA Stop on the All Thing Bright and Beautiful World Tour. Owl City gives the world an all access pass into one of his headlining shows. What’s more this includes backstage footage and an exclusive interview. Owl City hit the music scene in a major way with the label debut Ocean Eyes in July 2009, and spawned the quadruple platinum hit “Fireflies”. Hitting #1 in 24 countries and twice in the USA Owl City, went on his first ever tour as a headliner and sold out shows across four continents and almost immediately recorded a new album. As soon as this DVD came in the house I had to launch a search for it. Mistakenly thinking I had misplaced it I looked high and low until one of the kids asked what I was looking for.
