About Us

Just to make a public announcement we would like to let all of our visitors and readers know that we are both Christian Women.

We do not endorse or associate ourselves as being able to cast spells, howl at moons, read cards or the future. You’re welcome to read one of our favorite (and fun) posts about this. Snitchy (Why) Witches + Blogging Rule #1

Networking Witches started as a duo of virtual managers for a now defunct children’s virtual world. The Networking Witches team, went on their own to create the “mommy blog” Networking Witches. Taking a step to the side and braving a new world with a name that isn’t politically correct and creating their own Mom Marketing website, Joie Betterly (aka Winter Witch) and Rose Green (Redneck Witch) have worked tirelessly to make the company a success. Starting with nothing in 2009, they created a marketing blog that brings consumers and sponsors together. Thus helping consumers purchase with out buyers remorse. Sponsors are able to promote their product and make a lasting impression on the minds of people who wouldn’t normally know about their product.

There is nothing wiccan related to Networking Witches. The name was formed by the hubbies teasing their wives about being their witches. Unfortunately, the fun of the name is sometimes mistaken and offensive to others. It was never created to be offensive. It was created for fun and to make a lasting impression.

I’m a Wiccan, and I don’t howl at the moon either LOL! You sound like nice ladies and I’m sure it was meant in jest, but why alienate one of the fastest growing religions in America? We are real people, who live good honest lives, have jobs, take care of elderly parents, children, pets just like you. If you take the name witches, then learn a little bit about us then.

I’ve seen your disclaimer, but I’m just wondering: why pick such a controversial name?

I like several above don’t understand why Christian women would take on the name of witches. Of all the names out there you could have picked something to go with being Christian, and leave the witches name to the wiccans. Just saying.

Rather than commenting here over and over, how about a post in regards to all of it? :)

ditto to everything heidi said. except i’m a bit put off. not by your use of the word witch but by feeling you had to identify as specifically Christian. I will however take a look around your site and resist my first impression. Ironically i was excited to find your site when I saw the name. I don’t understand how this works for you with the marketing and target audience issue. I would not want to put up your badge, I would feel like I was misleading my readers, I’m sorry.

We have had to explain ourselves on this issue time and time again. That’s ok, I kind of enjoy it, perhaps in a sick sense. We enjoy humor. Life is simply too short and these days it’s difficult too. I have been known to bitch about a full moon. :) With that said, please feel free to read more about this entire subject at the link. :) Have a BEAUTIFUL day regardless of who you are or what your beliefs are.
