This morning my kids anxiously watched the school closings for a snow day and of course their school wasn’t included. They were all south of us by about 3 hours. My brother confirmed my suspicions early that Grand Rapids was hit with more of a freezing rain. So I regrettably cheerily got up and drove my daughter to her first day of college. I know she was nervous but she’ll get back into the school groove and do well.
Back to the snow. So the weather man wasn’t saying there was going to be any amount of snow. No, it was going to miss us, but it didn’t! It’s beautiful and with Boy Scouts being cancelled tonight there is hope for a snow day tomorrow. We’ll see. I’m not holding my breath yet though. I’m cheering for the Northern Michigan economy!
