Blue Ridge Jams has been making the finest gourmet food products in the Blue Ridge Mountains since 1961. Located south of Asheville, North Carolina with over 200 varieties of products available, there is something for everyone including: jam, jelly pickles, relish, chow chow, conserve, and preserves. They also make a wonderful assortment of Fruit Syrup, Salsa, Apple Butter and Peach Butter. All of which are favorites in our house.
The Jalapeno Strawberry Jelly was a sure hit with my husband. When he went to Drafting School in Arizona. He became addicted to Jellys that contained Jalapeno Peppers in them. This fab with cream cheese and crackers.
I love pancakes with a bit of jam or preserves on them instead of syrup. I was not disappointed with the Black n’ Blue Preserves. This triple berry mixture of Blackberries, Black Raspberries, and Blueberries were delicious. The Blue Ridge Preserves are made with real fruit and in small batches to give you a superior quality.
The quick snack when the kids get off the bus is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or in this case Preserves sandwich. The Spiced Peach Preserves was a immediately loved. It was also a “whoa mom” whats up with the sandwich. I am the “get it yourself” mom but instead had a sandwich waiting for them when they got off the bus. The Spiced Peach Preserves smooths on the bread easily, making it easier for my youngest to make too.
The last is the one we all enjoyed together. Biscuits for dinner with Smokey Mountain Special Preserves on them was heavenly. This special, triple berry mixture of Strawberries, Raspberries, and Cherries is the perfect on dinner biscuits.
What I really like about all of these (besides the great taste) is that they smooth on to the bread and crackers easily, and they go well with many things. We did not use them on Sundaes but I bet you we would love it just as much on ice cream too
