This cash register is wicked cool. The calculator is the register keypad – that talks and says the numbers as you press the buttons. It comes complete with play money and credit cards with a set of barcodes. Seriously, just how cool does it get? When I was little I played banker, got in trouble for taking out the Monopoly game money and had blankets strung all over as I faced through a chair to be safe behind bars.
I would have been a super cool bank teller with the Talking Cash Register. As a matter of fact, when no one was looking, I used the microphone and speaker and said “CLEANUP AISLE 4″! If my kids would have caught me doing that, my cool factor would have gone flying through a window. <insert crashing here>
When you press the buttons on the cash register it acts as a talking calculator, hit the = sign and it adds it all up, out loud and on the led screen. I love how this combines fun and teaching all in one. Every feature on the Talking Cash Register works for a nifty touch of reality.
