Sorry guys, but someone brought it to my attention that some didn’t realize to tweet, then link. Back to back.
I should have made this clear sooner and am sorry that I didn’t think of it.
If you tweet at 8:15AM, you need to have your tweet link posted in the corresponding post within a reasonable amount of time.
What is a reasonable amount of time?
One tweet hour to hour, one post hour to hour. So your tweets and posts need to match in timing, allowing a few minutes for load time for the site and comment.
Any questions? Ask now or forever hold your peace, as I’m updating the rules page to reflect this so it’s crystal clear. I’m open to answer questions, but sorry on hourly tweets I’m not going to change my mind. Tweet and link.
Yes, on ‘unlimited’ tweets you still have to tweet and link. You can’t save up all the tweets to post a huge group of tweets at once.

I am glad someone finally mentioned this bc I noticed that there are many who setup their tweets at like 4am when there are few people awake to see them —– then they post that tweet as an entry when they get up and around say like 10am. I feel that is a little unfair to us as bloggers since tweets can be helpful in getting the contest viewed by others who would have otherwise not know about it!!!!
Let me know how this works out for you and I hope other blogs will join in this rule as well!
Hmm, I didn’t know you could even schedulte a tweet or anything like that so i learn something new every day! Thanks guys! I have a lot of giveaways running come enter to win. barb g.
I’m one of those that tweeted during the day (well, as close as I could) but then posted them at the end of the day. It was just easier for me to post them all at once.
I’ll catch up my posts now. Who would schedule tweets for the middle of the night? That’s just insane.
Does this apply to “unlimited” tweets?
