When my husband I were kids he and my brother would RUN to a window to see what kind of airplane was coming in to our smallairport. We are houses were separated by the planes coming into land. On many a night my brother was grounded for running from the dinner table, make a bounce on the couch and landing on the back to watch some stupid plain come in. Then as we got older we had atvs and we would race them across the field to watch them land and take off. Me? I was in it for the racing not the plane.
Tonight my husband hears a loud plane coming in and yells that’s a P51 –> said marriage destroyer and grounded children . He ran to both windows and couldn’t see it. Mind you they come in straight over our house and you can hear those puppies roar. Redneck has had to go on hold many a time over said noise makers.
THEN….dun…dun…..dunnnnnnnnnnnnn it takes off only they had warning this time. The alpha male of the family running from door to door to get out of the house throw in 3 kids wondering wha’ts going on? And you have a set up for diaster. The alpha male finally tromples over boy #1 that is 5″ taller than him and leaves a path of a laughing mom and her children. Some things never change!
