Precisely measured coffee or tea…. at my fingertips. Every morning, afternoon and evening. I have a few things I want to update you all on with Tassimo. The unit, and some new T-Discs. Remember, T-Discs are the coffee pod like items that are the equivalent of a k cup for other brands.

My first post about Tassimo is found here, or you can simply use our search feature and type in Tassimo. My love for Tassimo began around the end of March, however I didn’t publish my first post on it until April. My machine has had a heck of a work out, and stood up very nicely to traffic, and high usage. I’m overall impressed.
All from my Tassimo Brew Unit, a one cup coffee maker. Well it’ll make around 40 or more different varieties of coffee or tea, with or without creamer, some a little sweet, some not at all, with ice or without ice – the choices are endless!
Around 2 weeks ago, I went into a panic over my Tassimo unit. I invaded twitter and the awesome pr rep that I work with for help. I was nearly frantic. The Tassimo unit put on it’s “I need descaled light”. I was fumbling everywhere in a rush to find the descaler to put through my unit, and didn’t realize that in my haste I was overlooking it. I was flat out worried about making a purchase from the Tassimo website. I write reviews, and I also read them. I wasn’t reading the best of things about ordering direct from the Tassimo site. What I found in the Tassimo forums merely pushed me away from the site. And I’m so relieved to report back to everyone, that I’m really glad that I went against the grain and ordered from Tassimo Direct.
I finally broke, and made my purchase from the Tassimo site. I planned it so that I did spend over $50 to take advantage of the free shipping. And of course got the much needed descaler.
Now this last week, has been a lot of stress and chaos, perhaps it may sound crazy but my Tassimo unit was there for me. I haven’t had the usual 8 hours of sleep, or even sleep at night time for that matter, and it’s so quick and easy to stumble walk over to the Tassimo and “tell” it what I want by putting a T-Disc in. On my way out the door I have thrown in a Gevalia Sweet & Creamy Iced Coffee T-Disc, and lately “on my way out the door” is all I have been able to do. Mom has spent the majority of the last week in the hospital. Having my Tassimo brew a cup for me at all hours of the night and heading out the door really gave me a feel of home on the go. It’s always the simple things isn’t it?

Gevalia Sweet & Creamy Iced Coffee sounds really good right now. Alot can be said for making one cup at a time- that way a pot doesnt just sit there if you’re in a hurry.
