I always let my kids brush their teeth then I go and “check” their work. I ask if they got each tooth as I brush it.

My kids brush their teeth by singing Happy Birthday to Me in their heads.
We play one of the children’s favorite songs while brushing. They know they need to brush from start to finish. This helps them to time how long they brush.
