Are your kids overly wild this summer? All three of mine have been a bit on the snarky side with each other. If two of them are home and the third one is somewhere else they get along great, but if all three are home it’s every man for himself. My seven, soon to be eight year old is pretty spoiled. I can only blame this on the other two. When he was a baby the dragged him all over. My daughter and her friend would play house and use him as the baby.

We’ve had a ton of rain here and maybe they are getting cabin fever but they argue and what is with them yelling all of a sudden? They never used to yell and I have to stop myself from yelling back at them. I have had to ask the youngest to stop talking. I set a timer and give him 5 minutes of no chat for yelling in the house.
All things considered I’m enjoy them home this summer. We haven’t been to the beach yet but tonight we are joining my parents and our company for dinner in a fancy restaurant. It isn’t very often we have a nice dinner out (meaning we get waited on) so we’re looking forward to this.

*sigh* My oldest son just came home from Boy Scout camp. Can you say PEEEE-U! I don’t think most of his camp clothes are worth laundering and I wonder if he ever changed his clothes? I mean seriously 2 outfits are totaled and the others look untouched. My daughter is working and this is her first year working in the real world. Reality hit when she had to turn down friends offers to do things because she had to work.
Back to my youngest, man I just need him to stop talking at me. He reminds me of Annoying Orange. He will poke me and say mama, and do it again and again with in like 10 seconds. It’s all I can do to not turn and yell WHAT! So, I’m working on finding him something creative to do. Psst! the Artterro kits keep him busy and the Hawaiian Reef Coloring Book.
