I received a beautiful Oak Ridge Candle and not only does it smell good and look great but it also is packed beautifully. Its packaging is from a company that is aware of environment and shipping concerns. I received a Lemongrass jar candle that smells oh so good.
While most soy wax candle consumers are aware of the benefits of soy they forget about recycling the glass jars. Oak Ridge Candle accepts their candle jars back for recycling. They will give you a 30% discount on your next candle to help benefit the consumer. Soy can be used until the jar reaches 1/4 inch of remaining of wax.

Benefits of soy Wax Candles are:
- Soy candles do not emit petro-carbon soot (toxin)
- Burns cleaner than 100% beeswax candles
- Longer lasting than paraffin candles, up to 50% longer
- With the longer burn time, pricing is comparable to paraffin candles of equal size
- Comparable pricing without the toxins and carcinogens
Oak Ridge Candles come in different types and scents. Essential Aroma and Aromatherapy have many scents to suit your favorite scent. Essential Aroma comes in many popular scents including Lemon Citronella for those with party patios. The Aromatherapy comes in many scents that help you to relax or feel better. My Lemongrass candle reduces headaches, nervousness, and is used to decrease irritability and drowsiness (good news for my family).
They also carry Just Soy. These have no scent but are perfect for dinner tables, parties, and weddings. All of these candles would make great gifts for wedding parties, birthdays or any gift giving ocassion.

I would choose Cinnamon.
I learned that, “Imhotep, the Egyptian god of medicine and healing, suggested the use of aromatic oils for bathing and massage nearly 6,000 years ago.”

Soy candles produce very little soot as compared to paraffin candles, but still a small amount of soot is typically present.

I like Lavender best. I learned they use 100% pure essential oils.
I’d choose Patchouli. I already loved the scent and just learned it can help with headaches

I like the Lemon scent. Learned that a soy candle burn time should never exceed more than 4 hours.
