With spring comes the early heat of summer. And both seasons bring fun outdoors. Be it walking, hiking, fishing, camping, or gardening you can bet that the biggest majority of us will find some time outside doing one of the above! I have a hard time finding shoes that can hold up to our rocky area, and our sometimes rough playtime. I got to review the V-Lite Gran Cararia Sandal from Hi-Tec and can’t tell you enough how pleased we really are. These are the lightest sandal I think I have ever worn. Easy to move around, walk or run while wearing them. I chose a pair that has a toe strap because I thought it was a cute touch. They are strappy and don’t flop around on my feet. When I’m out-fishing my husband, I can’t be fussing with my shoes. I just want to know they’re there,and doing their job! Not too bold of colorings and not so light that they’ll show every speck of dirt, combining taupe, olive, and golden haze. This sandal is available in Bamboo / Stone / Empress, it has more of a white and grey. If you like a lighter color those would be great for you. And there are other various styles to choose from with or without straps.

Another thing I love about Hi-Tec is that they carry shoes for all of us in the family. There are choices for men, women, and kids. I actually had my heart set on a pair for kids until I realized my big foot wouldn’t fit. But there are pairs to satisfy my husband. If he picks up a pair of shoes that don’t “agree” with is feet, he’s sure to get one of those athlete’s feet type itchy rashes. Which commonly gets worse this time of the year. So I suggested that he choose a pair from Hi-Tec to give them a shot. Of course his first two concerns were that – they would make his feet sweat in eternal misery and/or – they would hurt his back.
V-Lite Diablo in Dark Chocolate / Dark Taupe / Bombay colors blend nicely together for this mans shoe. Not used to seeing my husband in sandals has been a change. Great news is that these don’t make his back hurt anymore than usual. He’s really fond of the inner arch being slightly raises but not so high it’s overkill. Adjustability is another great point of the V-Lite Diablo. The cord strapping on top with a toggle lock keeps them where you want them, combined with the hook and loop closure on the back, heel area you get a customized daily. Both the mens and womens sandal shown here are nicely treaded so they aren’t slick. They’ll hold their grip while you go about your business. Or in other words, I don’t slide and bust my tail when I come through the front door with wet shoes from the garden. The V-Lite Diablo is also available in Black/Charcoal/Grey.
