Tote Buddy Giving Back To The Earth Giveaway Ends 4/22/10

I was surfing the net and ran across a video of a neat product.  One that I knew I could use.  Tote Buddy, holds your reusable shopping bags in one neat and orderly tote so you can take them into the market, grocer, or anywhere you might need a shopping bag.  I have been using reusable shopping bags now for at least 2 or 3 years.  I have accumulated a few at a time of all colors, shapes, sizes, and decorations.

Tote Buddy organizes these into one neat bundle and puts a hard cover over them for ease in transporting and carrying.  I take the Tote Buddy in the store fully stocked with my own reusable shopping bags and when I check out I open my Tote Buddy and hand products_2the bags to our bagger.  He puts the groceries in the bag and I put the Tote Buddy in one of my bags.

When I get home and unload the groceries I fold my bags back up, put them in the Tote Buddy and put it in the car for next time.  This is a handy answer to my reuse able bags being spread through the car, half in the house and half in the car.

    I learned that plastic bags don’t biodegrade, they photodegrade, which means they break down into smaller and smaller bits, and may take 1,000+ years to disappear. That fact alone makes me want to vow never to use them again. Thanks for a great giveaway.
