Each hand stamped pure silver (.999%) personalized pendant is made completely by hand using recycled silver. Sentimental Silver usings a product called Precious Metal Clay (PMC) It’s a neat new material in the jewelry world developed by Mitsubishi Materials Corporation in the early 90′s. Scientists there were looking for new ways to use their mined and recycled precious metals. The outcome was “Precious Metal Clay”, also known as “PMC”. It’s composed of micro-particles of pure silver or pure gold suspended in “clay” consisting of water and organic naturally occuring plant-based binder.

Every pendant is hand made by Sentimental Silver owner, Christi Johnstone. She says on her site that each pendant has a natural organic look compared to that of a mass produced product. And I have to agree. Christi sent me a couple of the pendants to review, and they are absolutely gorgeous. My husband is actually wearing the ones she sent. Every piece is truly one of a kind.
