One Last Dance: It’s Never Too Late To Fall In Love
By Mardo Williams
Synopsis
One Last Dance is a story about finding love at any age. One Last Dance is the delightful tale of Morgan, aged 89 and Dixie, 79 two “mature” individuals on seemingly divergent paths. Despite their disastrous first meeting, complete with a ruined birthday cake, broken eyeglasses, and insulting remarks. It was obvious to bystanders, even then, that the two were fated for each other.
The book follows the relationship of Dixie and Morgan, as they begin to date and ultimately decide to move in togetherr – for economic reasons, they agree. But the business only relationship changes and strengthens as the couple unites to combat illness, scandal and a near-fatal accident. It’s also a tale about how insecurities, humilitations and fears, thought long past, can haunt a person through out his days. Dixie fears intimacy. Morgan has concealed important details about his divorce, his estranged children, and his lost job.
When a mysterious stranger, a grandson Morgan has never met, bent on vengeance for past wrongs, invades their lives, he becomes a catalyst reconciling Morgan with his estranged Chicago family and eventually bringing Dixie and Morgan the love and pride they’d lost decades before with the loss of their children.
I am only partially through this book and have a hard time putting it down. This book should be a next Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. This is the perfect book and has won the Ohioana Library Award as well as the Independent Publisher Award. Pull up a blanket and cup of hot chocolate and start a good winter read.

One Last Dance Winner is Maggin

I met my husband on a free trial of True.com.Neither of us had ever met another person and our trials ended the next day.We started with an online wink (the only one I ever sent) and progressed to emails, instant messaging and daily phone calls that lasted 4 or more hours every night. We met about a month later and within 2 months after meeting we bought our home and moved in together. We were married 6 months after we started talking (3 days after Christmas). There were many hurdles including interfering family,2 sets of children, psycho friends and crazy exes.I dont know if anyone would want to read about it but it is the only thing I can think of.

a heartwarming story where two families meet fall in love and marry just like thethe movies but i know a couple that combined two families adopted 5 more into their family while being foster parentss a large loving family still going strong oh and i forgot the dogs lol another story
Mabey this isn’t so heartwarming but I hope it eventually will be.. I’ve known my best friend for almost four years. From the beginning we liked eachother but I always felt as if I wouldn’t want to date him. He called soo much at the start that it began to freak me out, and I ditched.
We started talking again, and I think we’ve had about three fights where we’ve stopped talking to eachother for at LEAST A month. He’s now gone to college two hours away and I love him to death.. We’re talking again, and I now realise how much I love him and want him – but it’s too late.

I think that a book should be about someone going through a horrible illness only to find her true love at the end

I think a touching story would be about a precious 5 year old girl who is struggling with cancer. This little girl is so strong for her young age. Her family is so close and their faith remains so strong despite what they are going through. I know many stories have been written on this topic, but this family, and this little girl are special.
