This is the ultimate first aid kit for your cold. A small blue box that features five of the ingredients most often needed for colds, cough, fever, and flu. Each individual ingredient come in it’s individual bottle. What I like about this is that it’s not multi-symptom, and I’m not taking medication for symptoms that I don’t have. It simply makes sense and gives new meaning to the concept of less is more.

SymptomPak™ Cold & Flu Pak makes having a cold even more manageable by including a small pill box in the Pak, so you can take your chosen medication(s) with you. When a bottle of a specific ingredient is empty simply refill it by buying just that one ingredient and replacing it in the kit. Each bottle contains 30 tablets and refills contain 60 tablets.

The SymptomPak^TM includes 5 different medications. Each was carefully chosen to give the patient maximum flexibility in treating the cold and flu with FDA-approved medications. Further, each medication treats a different set of symptoms so there is no overlap or duplication. The 5 medications, classes and their indications are as follows:

Acetaminophen – Analgesic (relieves pain and reduces fever)
Chlorpheniramine – Antihistamine (relieves runny nose, itchy watery eyes and sneezing)
Phenylephrine – Decongestant (relieves nasal congestion and sinus pressure)
Guaifenesin – Expectorant (relieves chest congestion and makes coughs more productive)
Dextromethorphan – Antitussive (suppresses cough)
