Pop-Up Trash & Recycling Containers – These can make life a little easier. We used one for my great nephew’s birthday party, and not only are they useful, but they are so cute! We used the Celebration Flings Bin. I really didn’t have a whole lot of faith that my Flings Bins were going to hold up to use. They just seem kind of flimsy. But we have used this one Flings Bin for around 2 weeks now, it survived a 3 4 year old playing with it – used for a tunnel, and to carry hot wheels, he has sat on it and carried it all over the house. It was also used for his birthday party, and it’s still kicking. So whatever you do, don’t judge this book bin by it’s cover! Unless you’re checking out how cute they are.

Flings Recycling Containers are completely recyclable in many recycling processing centers. Flings are designed to make it easier to capture recyclable items such as bottles and cans. My biggest question about Flings Bins -

Q: Can I re-use my Flings Bin container?

A: That’s totally up to you. In some cases, people have told us that they’ve been able to re-use the containers by dumping party trash or recycling into their ordinary containers. It seems to be largely a function of how messy the trash was. Ultimately, though, our goal was to make the bin inexpensive enough that it could be placed in either the waste or recycling stream. Over time, you’ll find what works for you.

As you can see from the two I have pictured here, the Flings Bins come in more than one design. Including one that is clearly marked for recycling!

If you can’t find Flings Bins at a location near you, they are also sold on their website. There are a few more locations that carry these, including but not limited to Safeyway, Price Chopper, and Weis Markets.
