Some days can be harder to face than others. And I’d be telling lies if I said 2009 was a cakewalk for us. We faced many issues.
My dear husband, who seemingly has this unconscious thought that we have a never ending supply of vehicles started off the year with a car accident, and at the end November had another accident. Thankfully, no one was hurt. And I do have the love of my life beside me to this day. Now, if I can just make him realize that he does not have wings, we might be doing ok.
Our family is still going strong, even with the turmoil on my husbands side of the family. And their beliefs on whatever it may be.
In 2010, I plan to let go of my harsh feelings for them, and live for myself, and my family. I should thank them for helping my husband and I to grow closer rather than apart as they have wished. May they be blessed in the coming year.
Our blog. Joie and I. Our friendship has grown for another full year. For that I am forever thankful. She is often my rock, and other times she’s the push I need. After the misery of working in the Virtual World industry with a couple of yahoo’s, we grew from that. We learned, and we scraped up, together and moved on to newer, and better things. Now, rather than help someone else undeserving move up, and on … we are helping ourselves move up, and on. Hang on for the ride, because as we said before, we are here in the blogosphere to stay!
The new blogger friendships. Wow, there are so many. I sit and here and I’m debating on whether I should list each one, but I’m afraid I would miss a few. The kindness, help, and pure generosity that they display makes me feel, and know that there are wonderful people in this world.
It’s not just “bloggers” I’m thankful for. But the company representatives, the companies themselves, the PR reps … Thank you, to each and every single one of you for making what we do possible. For giving us these opportunities to explore, and review new products, to hear our voices, for working with and supporting Bloggers, be it “Mommy Bloggers”, or whatever we may be dubbed in the coming year. I look forward to connecting with many of you again, and again. And much closer. I plan to build true relationships with so many, the list is endless.
Each of you have made an impact on my feelings, thoughts, emotions, and life in one way or another. I look forward to another year with all of it’s ups and downs.
I’m looking forward to 2010 being an even bigger learning experience, and making more connections with all of you! We’re looking forward to our first blog conference, be it Blissdom, BlogHer’10, or another one, we are here, we are ready for sponsorship, and we are ready to represent you in the coming years.

Well said woman….well said! So glad to have you in my reader and as my friend! Cheers!
Beautiful post! I, too, am in awe of the wonderful people out there (bloggers and PR alike), and am so thankful for those relationships. I have enjoyed getting to know you – cheers to a successful new year!!
Well written. I’m glad to have been able to get to know you both a bit better. And I wish nothing but a successful and fun 2010 for you and your families!!
I just found you guys shortly before the Blog escapade so I already see that push you all are doing to strive to become more successful. The Blog is nice and as much as I’d like to say I have to catch up on all past posts, I know I can tell you I will definitely be reading future posts if I get back to the past year I iwll learn a bit more of your growing pains. But, at this point you all look great and the content is very nice.
awesome post! Here’s to a bigger and better 2010!!!
What a great way to start the new year.I don’t know all the history but your husbands family sounds like mine.I started out trying to get along with them and when that did not work I just decided to seperate myself from them totally.Sometimes it is those who try to make us weak that make us stronger in the end.Best wishes in 2010!
That was well said!! Hats off to you! Happy New Year !
